# Sentinel Vision Navigator

Sentinel Vision Navigator is an Android-first assistive AI prototype for blind and partially sighted people. This Space mirrors the current release/download page at https://amdvision.qubitpage.com/.

The APK uses live camera frames, voice commands, Akash-hosted Qwen multimodal inference, a small vision-navigation RAG layer, and an opt-in native Android Accessibility Service to provide short, calm, physical guidance such as:

- Stop. Chair directly ahead, one step away.
- Doorway ahead, slightly left. Take two small steps forward.
- I cannot see enough. Hold still and slowly pan left, then right.

## Safety

This is an assistive prototype, not a medical device and not a replacement for a cane, guide dog, trained mobility support, or human assistance. It is designed to be conservative: if it is uncertain, it should ask the user to stop and pan slowly rather than invent a route.

The browser/Space page does not control Android apps. Real phone control is in the APK, after the user manually enables Sentinel Vision Control in Android Accessibility settings. Email reading uses the selected already-signed-in email app and visible-screen reading; it does not ask the user to enter an email password into Sentinel.
